Judy Ann Carpenter

Judy Ann Burkhart Carpenter, 71, of Barnesville, Ohio (formerly of Miltonsburg and Belle Valley Ohio) passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

She was born at Barnesville, Ohio on July 21, 1953 a daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Crock Burkhart.

Judy was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, playing cards, doing puzzles and she loved her cats and her dog Scooby.

Surviving are two daughters; Amy  Holle of Marysville, Ohio, Candace (Jamie) Mayes of Edison, Ohio; four brothers; Dave (Robin) Burkhart of Yulee, Florida, Donnie Burkhart of Quaker City, Ohio, Bob Burkhart of Miltonsburg, Ohio, George (Joyce) Burkhart of Miltonsburg, Ohio; a sister Kathy (Jim) Robson of Canal Winchester, Ohio, three grandchildren; Luke, Logan and Daxton. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio on Wednesday July 9th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with vigil services at 8:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 10, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio with Fr. Nick Ward as the celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio.
