Kent Eric Gardner

Kent Eric Gardner, 60, of North Charleroi, Pennsylvania (formerly of the Marr Community), passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at the home of his mother near Marr, Ohio.

He was born at Cleveland, Ohio on March 1, 1961 a son of Alice Diane Coe Gardner who survives of Marr, Ohio and the late Madison Junior Gardner.

He was a former over the road truck driver and was a former employee of the Woodsfield Light Plant, Woodsfield, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran where he served as a tank specialist and was a lifetime member of the 1st Calvary Division Association.

He enjoyed playing his guitar, writing music, fishing, hunting, kayaking and spending time with his loved ones.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John D. Gardner, Terry Joe Gardner, and Rick C. Gardner.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his longtime partner, Deb Dean of North Charleroi, Pennsylvania; two sons, Fred (Cassie) Davis of North Carolina, Kaleb (Sharon) Gardner of Ravenna, Ohio; one daughter, Sara (Tony) Gardner-Ciccarelli of Youngstown, Ohio; two brothers, Reggie (Debbie) Gardner of Marietta, Ohio, Jeffrey (Wanda) Gardner of Graysville, Ohio; one sister, Veronica “Vicki” Crawford and her companion, Cory Loughman of Bonita Springs, Florida; a sister-in-law, Linda Gardner of Woodsfield, Ohio; six grandchildren, Bonnie Davis, Eddie Davis, Lillianna Davis, Anthony Ciccarelli, Roman Ciccarelli and Elliot Gardner; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, Edward Brown, Deanna May, Michael May and Katie May.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 where funeral and military services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021. Private graveside services will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
