Larry Dalrymple Obituary

 

Larry Dean Dalrymple Jr., 48, of Jerusalem, Ohio (Malaga Community) passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio after a long hard fight with COVID.

He was born at Marietta Ohio on April 28, 1973 a son of Pheobe Richards Howell who survives of Stafford, Ohio and the late Larry Dalrymple Sr.

He was currently employed at the Tractor Supply Co. in Woodsfield, Ohio, was a former employee of McDonalds of Woodsfield, and Asplundh Tree Service.

Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved taking youth hunting. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandson Kenneth, they were never apart. Larry also enjoyed talking around late night bonfires and grilling out.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Wendy (Schultz) Dalrymple whom he married on February 14, 1997; two daughters, Desiree (Robert) Valentine of Beallsville, Ohio and Shania Dalrymple of Malaga, Ohio; one son, Larry Lee Dalrymple of Malaga, Ohio; a grandson, Kenneth West of Malaga, Ohio; a bonus mom, Barb Galloway and a bonus brother, Clayton (Jess) Galloway; three grand puppies and grand kitties; two bonus sons, Kevin (Stormie) Binegar and James (Jami) Green; seven bonus grandkids; three sisters, Judy (Gary) Piatt, Angel (Donny) Young, Edith (Charlie) Morgan; one brother, William (Amanda) Howell; two step-sisters, Tina Linton and Tammy (Bradley) Warner; two mothers-in-law, Sandy Phillips and Connie Drum, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Howell, both paternal grandparents; both step-grandparents; two fathers-in-law, Samuel Schultz and James Drum; a brother-in-law, Larry Linton, and a bonus dad, Kenneth Galloway.

There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
