Linda Lou Dean

Linda Lou Dean, 80, of Lower Salem, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home.

She was born at Lodi, Ohio on December 6, 1940 a daughter of the late Frazier and Mary Drebelbis Buxton.

Linda was a former nurse’s aide at the former Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio and was a member of the Anchor Church of Woodsfield, Ohio.

She enjoyed cooking and attending her church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dean; four brothers, Ronnie, Roy, Raymond and Eddie Buxton; two sisters, Mary Ann Roberts and Carol Beasley; and a grandson Brock Dean.

Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (Gary) Pritt of West Salem, Ohio; four sons, Walter (Missy) Dean of Graysville, Ohio, Michael (Deborah) Dean of Lower Salem, Ohio, Dennis (Darla) Dean of Columbus, Ohio, Charles (Nicolle) Dean of Graysville, Ohio; one sister, Gladys Rhodes of Rittman, Ohio; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021.

Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
