Linda L. Holiday

     Linda L. Holiday, 78, of Lewisville, Ohio (Sycamore Valley Community) passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at her home.

     She was born at Sistersville, West Virginia on March 10, 1947 a daughter of the late Cecil W. Holiday and Mary Emma Jacobs Holiday.

     Linda was a former care giver for various elderly people in the area. She was a member of the Bethel Community Center and the Ladies Aide, Marr, Ohio.

     She was a great visitor to many people in the community and bringing them snacks.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Hester Leasure, Ada Offenberger, Mary Carpenter, Nancy Tidd; three brothers, Dale Eugene Holiday, Roger Lee Holiday and Robert Lewis Holiday.

     Surviving are one sister, Marion Helen Block of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, numerous nieces and nephews and an aunt, Thelma Bugay.

     Friends will be received at the Bethel Community Center, State Route 260, Marr, Ohio form 3:00 p.m. until time of a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 with Rodney Bettinger officiating.
     Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Community Center, c/o Kevin Williamson, 30991 Township Road 843, Lower Salem, Ohio 45745 or to the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Jim Smithberger, 36290 Smithberger Road, Lower Salem 45745.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
