Marie Theresa Lawless

     Marie Theresa Lawless, 71, of Woodsfield, Ohio formerly of Morris, Illinois passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at her home.

     She was born at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1953 a daughter of the late David and Theresa McAleer Fekay.

     She was a former secretary at the Standing in the Word Ministries, Morris, Illinois where she was also a member.

     Marie was an avid Steelers fan enjoying singing, dancing, praying for people and paying the tambourine at church. She had a heart for God and we know that she is with him now dancing around the throne.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Fekay and a sister, Donna Smith.

     Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Daniel P. Lawless, two daughters, Shawna Brown of California, Danielle Lawless of Michigan; two sons, Dustin Brown of California, Anthony Lawless of Ohio; two sisters, Gale Farner, Patty Fekay; two brothers, Robert Fekay, Chris Curtis; eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

     There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
