Marilyn Kathryn Stauffer, 94, of Garfield, Arkansas (formerly of Monroe County, Ohio) passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Circle of Life Hospice House, Bentonville, Arkansas.
She was born in Clarington, Ohio on September 28, 1925 a daughter of the late Harry D. and Hazel Belle Mobley Miller.
Marilyn was a homemaker and formerly worked with the Meals on Wheels Program in Cameron, Ohio.
She enjoyed sewing, needle point, reading and going to church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Stauffer; two daughters, Shelby Cannaday and Patricia Graham; two sons, Charles and Harry James Stauffer; two sisters, Ila Collins and Ramona Poling; three brothers, Earl, Damon and John Miller.
Surviving are six daughters, Carolyn (Joseph) Cline of Seligman, Missouri, Sandra (David) Edwards of Garfield, Arkansas, Inez (Donald) Daugherty of Clarington, Ohio; Mary Kay Viars of Austell, Georgia, Tina Marmie of Austell, Georgia, Marcella (Dennis) Neil of Waco, Texas; four sons, Stephen Stauffer of Austell, Georgia, Russell (Cheryl) Stauffer of Comanche, Texas, Gary Stauffer of Covington, Georgia, Daniel (Brenda) Stauffer of Austell, Georgia; one sister, Evalina Smith of Ohio; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 with Rev. David Cottrill officiating.
Burial will follow in the Zion Methodist Cemetery, Cain Ridge Road, Clarington, Ohio.
