Melvin G. Heidebrecht

Melvin George Heidebrecht, 92, of Woodsfield, Ohio (formerly of Georgetown, Texas) passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Westwood Place, Woodsfield, Ohio.

He was born near Corn, Oklahoma on November 28, 1930 a son of the late Arthur and Elsie Nichol Heidebrecht.

Melvin was retired truck driver for Merchants Motor Freight, Amarillo, Texas and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Georgetown, Texas. He also enjoyed fishing with his son and bird hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Sawatzky and one brother, Ervin Heidebrecht.

Surviving are one son, Ronald “Ron” (Cindy) Heidebrecht of Georgetown, Texas; one brother, Norman Heidebrecht of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Betty Decker of Bethany, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
