Ona Mae “Jackie” Locklear, 92, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.
She was born at Wyco, West Virginia on September 4, 1927 a daughter of the late John and Laola Cook Adams.
She was a former owner of a variety of different stores in her lifetime including the former Woodsfield Salvage Store. She also enjoyed collecting antiques.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Locklear; a son, Russell Balthis; two brothers, Algie and Bud Adams; three sisters, Lula Pazzelli, Anna Brook and Oma Faye Runkles.
Surviving are one daughter, Henrietta (Dave) Dittmer of Washington; two sons, Thomas (Christina Kay) Balthis of North Port, Florida, Edward (Cynthia) Balthis of Green, Ohio; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 with Herb Alexander officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
