Patricia Ann Wade

     Patricia Ann Wade, 69, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

     She was born near Woodsfield, Ohio on January 12, 1955 a daughter of the late John and Louise Roberts Resecker.

     Patricia was a retired registered nurse having worked at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glendale, West Virginia and the former Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, West Virginia.

     She was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio and also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 9930, Duffy, Ohio.

     She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans, fishing and riding motorcycles.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack William Wade; a sister, Alice May Hawkins; two brothers, John Larry “Bud” Resecker and Carl Lee Resecker; a grandson, Cody Kenney and a nephew Dwayne Stine.

     Surviving are two daughters, Tonia (Rick) Cremeans of Woodsfield, Ohio and Shelly (John) Blackstone of Lewisville, Ohio; one son,Terry Kenney (Christine) of Salem, West Virginia; one sister, Shelby “Jeannie” Cunningham of Clarksville, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Sheena Washington of Salem West Virginia, Robert Cremeans of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, Devin Cremeans of Woodsfield, Ohio, Trenton (Renee) Blackstone, Dylan (Ashley) Blackstone, Dalton Blackstone and Bentley Blackstone all of Lewisville, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren, Skyla, Jackson, Maverick, Karli, Ryan, Alivia, and Ava; one great-great- grandson, Remington.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00– 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September24, 2024 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with Dennis Heater officiating. Burial will follow in the Emma Grove Cemetery, Hannibal, Ohio.

     V.F. W. Ladies Auxiliary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
