Paul E. Craig

     Paul E. Craig, 83, of Sardis, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home.

     He was born at the family home in Laings, Ohio on March 16, 1938 a son of the late Delbert and Rose Alleman Craig.

     He was a retired potman for the Ormet Corp., Hannibal, Ohio with 45 years of service.

     He enjoyed farming, hunting, raising coon hounds, avid Yankees fan, watching wrestling, and spending time with his family and grand kids.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Griffon Craig on May 18, 2003; a son, Darren Craig; three brothers, Harold, Dean and Bernard Craig; two sisters, Goldie Craig and Doris Craig.

     Surviving are two daughters Rhonda (Richard) Lancaster of Antioch, Ohio; Rita Craig and her fiancé Richard Smith of Sardis, Ohio; three sisters, Helen Craig and Evelyn Craig both of Columbus, Ohio and Nina (Terry) Ice of Laings, Ohio, four grandchildren, Laken (Aaron) Walker, Mallory (Jonathan) Cross, Sierra (Harley) Price and Matthew Lancaster.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 26, 2022 until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Don Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in West Union Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio.
