Phyllis J. Monahan

Phyllis J. Monahan, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

She was born at Bellaire, Ohio on March 6, 1953 a daughter of the late Oscar and Jean Reah Stewart.

She was a former insurance agent for 44 years and was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio.

She enjoyed being on the river with the boat and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sefert on August 23, 2022; one brother, Jerry Stewart and one sister, Judy Stewart.

Surviving are her husband, Randy Monahan whom she married on November 24, 1972; two sons, Benji (Valoree) Monahan of Woodsfield, Ohio, Bradly Monahan of the home; a son-in-law, Randall Sefert of Woodsfield, Ohio; two brothers, Harold (Wendy) Stewart of Powhatan, Ohio, David Stewart of Panama City, Florida; seven grandchildren, Logan (Christina), Lakelyn (Nate), Luke, Lorelei, Parker, Perspohne, Sophieona; and one great-granddaughter, Chevelle.

There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
