Preston L. McIntire

          Preston L. McIntire, 60, Of Clarington, Ohio passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.         

           He was born at Martin’s Ferry, Ohio on March 25, 1960 a son of the late Charles and Virginia Brown McIntire.

          He was a former underground surveyor for North American Coal Company #4 and he was a partner in McIntire Cartage, Clarington, Ohio along with his late father Charles McIntire and late brother Kenneth McIntire.

          He enjoyed building remote control cars and trucks, fishing and wood working.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth McIntire and a sister in law Kelly McIntire.

          Surviving are his wife, Tina Ayers McIntire whom he married on April 25, 1980; one son, Dalton McIntire and his fiancé Hillary Wilson; one niece, Devon (Trey) Hepburn of Saint Clairsville, Ohio; one nephew, Andrew (Cassie) McIntire of Columbus, Ohio, several great nieces and nephews, a special cousin, Drew (Valerie) Brown.

          As per Preston’s requests there will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience  of the family.
