Rebecca Lynn Geehring

      Rebecca Lynn Geehring, 62, of Martins Ferry, Ohio (formerly of Lewisville, Ohio) passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

     She was born at Barnesville, Ohio on September 28, 1962 a daughter of Wanda Henthorn Blackstone who survives of Lewisville, Ohio and the late Charles Franklin Blackstone Sr.

     Rebecca was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Charles Geehring; two brothers, Mark Anthony Blackstone and Charles Franklin Blackstone Jr.

     Surviving in addition to her mother are her former husband, Keith Geehring of Martins Ferry, Ohio; one daughter, Rachel Sitzmore of Martins Ferry, Ohio; one son, Ryan Geehring of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Marilyn Hinkle of Woodsfield, Ohio, Pamela (Tim) Temesvary of Woodsfield, Ohio, Karen (Fred) Myers of Jerusalem, Ohio; three brothers, Greg Blackstone and his companion, Wanda, of Laings, Ohio; Mitchell Blackstone of Lewisville, Ohio, Jason (Misty) Blackstone of Woodsfield, Ohio; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 with Fr. Nick Ward officiating.

     Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Lewisville, Ohio.
