Richard H. Lee

     Richard H. Lee, 78, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his home in his chair with his loving companion “Gunner” by his side.

     He was born in Painesville, Ohio on May 31, 1947 a son of the late Raymond Richard Lee and Levella May Leasure Lee.

     Richard was a former truck driver and a retired welder for the former Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio.

     He was a proud River High School graduate, an avid Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indians and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He always had a sporting event or game show on T.V. He loved going to his grandsons sporting events and often talked about how blessed he was to also attend his great- grandsons’ events.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Ann Lee; a nephew, Jeffrey Scott Lee and a loving dog, “Ranger”.

     Surviving are daughters, Renee (Kurt) Hooper of Antioch, Ohio, Chacity (Raymond Jr.) Stoehr of Lewisville, Ohio; grandsons, Brock Price, Levi Hooper, Jarett Hooper, Ryan (Nicole) Stoehr, Wade (Kylie) Stoehr; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Braxton, Cannon and Brooks; brothers and sisters, Donald (Evelyn) Lee, Barbara (Eugene) Schmidt, Karen Conley and Mike Lee; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025.

     A cremation will take place following the visitation with inurnment at the convenience of the family.
