Richard J. Yoho

Richard J. Yoho, 84, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his home.

He was born near Woodsfield, Ohio on February 18, 1940 a son of the late Everett and Martha Reeves Yoho.

He was a 1958 graduate of Woodsfield High School, Woodsfield, Ohio. Richard was the retired owner of several different businesses in Ohio. He enjoyed spending time in his shop, woodworking and telling stories to his friends who would stop by.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Yoho Harmon; three brothers, Bobby Yoho, Billy Yoho and Jack Yoho and a grandson, Seth Yoho.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Marsha Hines Yoho; one daughter, Lisa Yoho of Houston, Texas; four sons, Paris (Janet) Yoho of Woodsfield, Ohio, Kirk (Courtney) Yoho of Columbus, Ohio, Chad (Angie) Yoho of Marietta, Ohio, Christopher (Casey) Yoho of Columbus, Ohio; his twin sister, LaDonna Huntsman of Woodsfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Rachel, Sydney, Taylor, Reese, Camryn, Faith, Dawson, and Cohen; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025 where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 with Pastors Tony Foreman and Brett Hower officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
