Robert Gaydosik Obituary

Robert “Bob” Gaydosik, 87, of Summerfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home.

He was born at Senecaville, Ohio on March 26, 1933 a son of the late Frank and Agnes Mazer Gaydosik.

Bob was a retired dozer operator for Central Ohio Coal and was a Catholic by faith. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War; a member of the American Legion Post 415, Summerfield, Ohio and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Caldwell, Ohio.

He enjoyed farming, hunting, coon hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Angela Gaydosik, Josephine McMullen, and Marie Grek; three brothers, Joseph, Frank, and Ed Gaydosik.

He is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” Dimmerling Gaydosik; one daughter, Tacy (Bud) Rich of Sarahsville, Ohio; two sons, Fr. David Gaydosik of Churchtown, Ohio, Robert (Connie) Gaydosik of Summerfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Whitney (Travis) Snyder, Justin (Ashley) Rich, Jacob Rich and Haleigh Rich; one great-grandson, Carlyle Snyder.

Graveside and full military services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle, Ohio with Fr. David Gaydosik officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
