Robert D. Hilverding

     Robert D. Hilverding, 83, of Stafford, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his home.

     He was born at Lebanon, Ohio on November 7, 1939 a son of the late Paul and Ruth Hall Hilverding.

     He was a retired station engineer from the Columbia Gas system. He was a member of the Stafford United Methodist Church, Stafford, Ohio and also the Stafford Lodge #300, F. & A.M., Stafford, Ohio.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Hilverding, a son, Sean Hilverding and a sister, Jean Zwick.

     Surviving are his wife, Patricia Martin Hilverding whom he married on July 25, 1959; five sons, Brian  Hilverding of Waterford, Ohio, Matt (Becky) Hilverding of Waterford, Ohio, Joe Hilverding of Whipple, Ohio, Todd (Monica) Hilverding of Waterford, Ohio, Trevor (Maranda) Hilverding of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister, Karen Fortney of Lebanon, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

     A private funeral will be held at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio with Pastor Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, Ohio.
