Robert A. "Alex" Meigh

     Robert “Alex” Meigh, 23, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio.

     He was born at Dearborn, Michigan on January 12, 1998 a son of Jacqueline “Jackie” Jodway Kauff who survives of Woodsfield, Ohio and Robert (Cindy) Alan Meigh who survives of Martins Ferry, Ohio.

     He was a sales clerk for Rite-Aid in Woodsfield, Ohio and was also a student of computer science/ networking.

     He was an avid sports fan, a two year Varsity Swimmer of Martins Ferry High School Swim Team, a loyal Michigan fan and enjoyed video gaming.

     He was preceded in death by a sister Ashley Kauff; two grandfathers, Robert Clyde Meigh and Gary Jodway. 

     Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Emily (Ricky) Smith of Jerusalem, Ohio; his grandparents Sandra (Chris) Imboden of Woodsfield, Ohio; Doris Meigh of Glendale, W. Va., and Sandy Born of Michigan; two nieces Kaylynn May and Aubrey Kauff; two nephews, Mason Dennison and Kaiden Smith and his dog “Angus” and his companion and soul mate, Lindsey Pittman of Lewisville, Ohio; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday, November 29, 2021. Following visitation a cremation will take place with inurnment at the convenience of the family.
