Samuel R. Secrest

     Samuel R. Secrest, 74, of Caldwell, Ohio (formerly of Guernsey County, Ohio) passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Altercare Summit Acres, Caldwell, Ohio.

     He was born in Guernsey County, Ohio on March 1, 1952 a son of the late Samuel Bay and Norma Jean Secrest Bay.

     Samuel was a former employee of The Jeffersonian as a delivery man.

     Surviving are his companion, Alice Smith of Summerfield, Ohio and a sister, Barbara Thatcher.

     There will be no visitation. As per Samuel’s wishes a cremation will take place with inurnment in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield, Ohio at a later date.
