Sandra Kay Leasure

     Sandra Kay Leasure, 54, of Stafford, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

     She was born on March 28, 1967 a daughter of Patricia Fagan Wesney who survives of Junction City, Ohio and the late Ralph Wesney.

     She was a medical transcriptionist for Ohio Hills Health System, Barnesville, Ohio and she also attended the 1st Christian Church of Barnesville, Ohio.

     She enjoyed crocheting, going to the Amish country, traveling, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Edward Wesney Jr.

     Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Merle Leasure who she married on November 15, 1986; one son, Christopher (Kayla) Leasure of Woodsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Lori (Andrew) Fink of Junction City, Ohio, Sara Wesney of Lancaster, Ohio; three brothers, Glenn (Teresa) Wesney of Somerset, Ohio, Brain (Susan) Wesney of Springfield, Ohio, Dustin Wesney of New Orleans, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Brynlee and Hallie Leasure.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 with Pastor Ed Eberhart and her son, Christopher Leasure officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Summerfield, Ohio.
