Sandra L Montgomery

 Sandra L. Montgomery, 80, of Sevierville, Tennessee (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away at her home, Monday, July 29, 2024.

She was born at Steubenville, Ohio on December 19, 1943 a daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Wells Yost.

She was a homemaker and a part time Christian teacher at the former Christian Academy, Woodsfield, Ohio.

Sandra enjoyed knitting, playing the piano, crafting and most especially spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Montgomery on June 11, 2006; one brother, Todd Yost; a sister/aunt, Lynda Wilson; two grandchildren, Amber DeLong and David Lancaster.

Surviving are four daughters Sandy Holman of Sturgis, Michigan; Sharon (Logan) Waters of Ft. Mill, S.C. ; Lisa (Brent) Rathbone of Sevierville, TN.; Crystal (Keith) Piatt of Lewisville, Ohio. One sister Tammy Balogac of Toronto, Ohio; one brother Rick Yost of Virginia, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Friday August 2, 2024 with Pastor Brent Rathbone officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
