Scott E. Edgington

     Scott E. Edgington, 52, of Graysville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his home.

     He was born at Marietta, Ohio on January 25, 1970 a son of James “Jim” and Betty Kindle Edgington who survive of Graysville, Ohio.

     He was a 1989 graduate of the former Skyvue High School.  He was an I. T. Specialist and was currently employed for Williams Lee, Wheeling W. Va.. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Gulf War.

     Scott was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed collecting movies.

     He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Homer “Cotton” and Margaret Kindle, paternal grandparents, Lee and Bertha Edgington.

     Surviving in addition to his parents are his twin brother, Brad (Laura) Edgington of Hubert, N.C. ; several aunts, uncles and cousins; two nieces Brittany (Jacob) Hill of Woodsfield, Ohio; Skylar Edgington of Hull, Georgia.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday February 9, 2022 where funeral and military services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 10, 2022 with Pastor Joe Hise officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hoop for Heart VFD c/o Foundation for Appalachian Ohio P.O. Box 456 Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.

     At the conclusion of the graveside service, everyone is invited to the Graysville Vol. Fire Dept. for a luncheon and fellowship.
