Thomas E. "Tom" Gordon

     Thomas E. “Tom” Gordon, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his home.

     He was born at Wheeling, West Virginia on August 28, 1937, a son of the late Harry and Marie Clieves Gordon.

     He was retired employee of the former Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio. Tom was a long member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Woodsfield, Ohio and Loyal Order of the Moose, Woodsfield, Ohio.

     Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. DeBolt Gordon who died October 31, 2020; a son, Ronald Lee Gordon; brothers, Paul Gordon Sr., Harry Gordon Jr., Glenn Gordon, Charles Gordon, William Gordon, Mike Gordon, Walter Gordon, James Gordon; sisters, Nora Alice Baum and Margaret Griffith.

     Surviving are two daughters, Paula (Paul) Crawford of Seattle, Washington, Karen Gordon and significant other, Hope Murphy of Toronto, Ohio; one son, Tom Gordon of Georgia; one brother, John (Linda) Gordon of Glendale, West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

     There will be no visitation. Following cremation, a private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
