Violet E. Bishop, 91, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her daughter’s home.
She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on April 8, 1928 a daughter of the late John Avery Gray and Margaret Evelyn Britton Gray.
She was a former employee of B.F. Goodrich, Marietta, Ohio and was owner of the former Hi Lo Wine Cellar in Marietta, Ohio. She enjoyed eating pie and going out to eat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Bishop on July 14, 2001; three brothers, Eugene, Golden, and Harold Gray.
Surviving are two daughters, Geneva Forshey of Lewisville, Ohio, Nancy Kaye (Haskell) Dornan of Mesa Arizona; one son, William L. Bellville and his companion Judy of Mesa, Arizona; eight grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
As per Violet’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
