Virgil Kenneth Haralason, 88, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.
He was born in Ogemaw, Arkansas on June 28, 1931 a son of the late Virgil and Essie McDonald Haralson.
He was a retired electrician for the Texas Eastern Corporation and was station chief many years ago in Wheelersburg, Ohio. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and was a Methodist by faith. Virgil was also a member of the Monroe Lodge 189 F. & A.M.; the Scottish Rite; and the Osiris Shrine Temple, Wheeling, West Virginia.
He enjoyed hunting, boating, and was an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin sisters.
Surviving are his wife Marion Haralson; his son Mark (Patty) Haralson; two daughters, Michelle (Donald) Brock of Smackover, Arkansas, Melinda Sendall of Edmund, Oklahoma; one brother, Jim Haralson of Westminster, Maryland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Smackover Cemetery, Smackover Arkansas.
