Virginia “Ginni” F. White Wadkins, 71, of Grove City, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at the UPMC Medical Center, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
She was born at Louisville, Kentucky on June 19, 1950 a daughter of the late James H. White Jr. and Gladys Worley White.
She was a former employee for Nationwide Insurance Co., Columbus, Ohio and Menchey Music in Hanover, Pennsylvania. She was also a member of the Church of the Brethren, Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Other than her immense love for her family and friends, Ginni had a lifelong love of music whether listening, playing or singing. Her favorite job in the world was working for Menchey Music. She was a huge Ohio State fan and she also had a great love of all things, Hugh Jackman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” White Vinson; a brother-in-law, Harmon “Red” Vinson; a nephew, Brian White and a great nephew, Jackson Owen Gaines.
Surviving are two daughters, Danielle Wadkins and her husband Brian Boylan of Westerville, Ohio, Kendra Wadkins and her partner, Brandon Patterson of Grove City, Ohio; one son, Andrew Wadkins and his wife Edith Dinger of Grove City, Ohio; one sister, Macy Burnette of Calera, Alabama; two brothers, James H. (Barbara) White III of New Hampshire, William H. (Debbie) White of Alabama; three grandchildren, Samantha Grace Spangler, Scarlett Virginia Patterson, Rosemary Jane Boylan; her former husband, Ken (Lise) Wadkins of Westerville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews who were beloved.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 with Rev. Susan Lehosky officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe Theatre, 104 North Main Street, Woodsfield, Ohio.
The family ask that anyone attending the service that they try and wear something purple since that was Ginni’s favorite color.
