Willard F. Yommer, 89, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at his home.
He was born at Grantsville, Maryland on December 1, 1935 a son of the late Bruce and Jessie Yommer.
He was a retired employee for General Motors, Parma, Ohio with 31 years and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Caldwell, Ohio. He enjoyed working on his farm, gardening, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joann Craig Yommer on August 1, 2017 several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are five daughters, Janet Maxwell of Clearwater, Florida, Tammy Johnson of Macksburg, Ohio, Crystal Mann of Lewisville, Ohio, Shanna Harley of Lewisville, Ohio, Elizabeth Wilt of Maryland; four sons, Alex Combs of Macksburg, Ohio, Roy Brinson of Quaker City, Ohio, Will Yommer of Maryland, Leonard Yommer of Maryland; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 with Pastor Joe Hise of the Woodsfield Church of the Nazarene officiating.
Following services a cremation will take place with inurnment at a later date at the Calais Cemetery, Calais, Ohio.
