William E. "Bill" Clift

          William E. “Bill” Clift Jr., 55, of Lower Salem, Ohio (Marr Community) passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

          He was born in Marietta, Ohio on March 7, 1965 a son of Irene Cline Clift who survives of Caldwell, Ohio and the late William E. Clift Sr.

          He was a shipping coordinator for Dimex Corporation, Reno, Ohio. He was also a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lebanon, Ohio.

          He enjoyed attending car shows, camping, mowing the yard, golfing, fishing and spending time with family.

          Surviving are his wife, Diane Armstrong Clift whom he married on September 6, 1986; one daughter, Brittany (Michael) Johnson of Caldwell, Ohio; one son, Cass (Leah) Clift of the family farm in Marr, Ohio; three sisters, Kathy (Ed) Crock of Caldwell, Ohio, Chris (Dennis) Ward of Jerusalem, Ohio, Jeanine (David) Colvin of Georgia; a special and favorite grandson, Rylar William Clift; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Naomi Armstrong of Brownsville, Ohio.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020.

          Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Masterton Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio with Pastor Jim Porter officiating.
