          Betty R. (Piatt) Finch McDonald, 91, of Woodsfield, Ohio (formerly of Barnesville, Ohio) passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.

          She was born in Woodsfield, Ohio on March 26, 1926 a daughter of the late Isaac and Ada Grant Piatt.

          Betty was a retired dietary supervisor at the Barnesville Health Care Center, Barnesville, Ohio and enjoyed running the Gingerbread House Bed and Breakfast in Barnesville, Ohio along with her late husband for 16 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Barnesville, Ohio and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Post 2792, Barnesville, Ohio.
          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bud” McDonald on April 21, 2014; a sister, Clara Feldner; three brothers, Raymond, Charles, and Clarence “Bus” Piatt.
          Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (Larry) Maddux of Indianapolis, Indiana; one son, Ronnie (Betty) Keevert of Woodsfield, Ohio; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
